JSAR purchase/Request for serial # information

8 posts in this topic

I received this Miltech restored JSAR yesterday from a Board member.  Seamless transaction.  Any information on #5135?

Thanks in advance !

Terry, Please stand by. I'm sure that your request will be granted since there is no prefix before the serial number.:D

Thanks.   Someone commented on the post earlier than mine and I was not the most recent post anymore.  Not being disrespectful and realizing these searches are a work of love.  Really just commented so I would end up on top again.

Here is the data on JSAR #5135

Receiver from Cranston Arms  unlisted

Stock #2

Bbl #4466E

Hammer block #5366

Hammer #6103

Bolt #6064

Locking cam #5927

Firing pin #4444

Extractor #5096

Transferred to NPC 2/16/42

Let us know if anything matches.  I would be shocked since Miltech restores them with new and refurbished parts.

I am sure you are correct.  It does give me some history of it and something to look for in the future.

My sincerest thanks.

I went to Ohio Gun Collectors Assn meeting yesterday (7/16).  There were two JSARs for sale by members.  Each were in the vicinity of $7,000-$7,500.  I purchased the below bayonet as I was  leaving.
