camstuff i used threaded plugs to put in the taped holes that held the scope on the Winfield i restored

Very nice collection of rare bayonets i have only one that i purchased with a Johnson Rifle a barrel and a box of parts from a gentleman that worked at Gun Parts many years ago it still had original price tag on it $1.25 the case is in bad shape i purchased a reproduction from Sarco years ago

I purchased one of Joseph Scott's Stocks many years ago beautiful work wish i had purchased one of his barrels didn't have the money at the time when i did he stopped making them i hate shooting my original barrel

roverboy i purchased my 1941 Johnson from a older gentleman he gave me a original barrel and bayonet and box of parts from Gun Parts they still had price tag on them he wanted to restore it back to military but never did with the help of Joseph Scott i restored the rifle back i used his rear site and one of his stocks outstanding work everything fit perfect i plugged the holes where it was drilled it for the scope the rifle came out beautiful

I have had my Johnson's apart several times over the years don't remember that part

I was coming back from vacation stopped at small shop they had a Johnson looked to be a possible restored Winfield owner wouldn't let me take it out of stock unless i really wanted to purchase it he wanted $3,000 dollars for it serial # B1342 i thought it was high for a restored rifle
