All parts original never to have been replaced??? Bit of a stretch unless this guy has the only known set of A prefix logs!
-
Wish we could figure out what the markings meant. Appears all the Chilean scabbards are marked the same.
-
Thanks Brian! Appreciate it! Wayne

Hey All, This weekend I stripped my JSAR down to clean after a day at the range. On the face of the stock is stamped 'K4'. Does anyone know what that marking represents? Thanks Wayne
-
Never have heard of them nor seen one! Looking at the price, they are very proud of it!

Oh come on guys!!! Nothing that a cutting torch can't take care of!!
-
There are actually 2 Chilean JSAR bayonets for sale on eBay right now!

Hey Jason, Welcome back! The first thing I would try is a new spring. Mine was doing the same thing when I bought it. Replaced the spring and it took care of all my problems. Mine now ejects about 5-6 feet every time. Good luck! Wayne
-
I bought my original star washers from Joe Scott a couple of years ago. Might want to reach out to him
-
Measure your current spring. If it is under 12” you need a new one. Get ahold of Joseph Scott here on the forum or you can get them from eBay, gun broker or SARCO.

How far is the rifle ejecting the brass?
-
Welcome Tim! Remember whether you have the knowledge or not you can always contribute. This is the only forum I’ve seen were every member is very helpful!! Wayne

Personally, I would lean toward polishing the chamber. Your rifle is functioning flawlessly with your other barrels. That tells me your issue is with the barrel not the rifle.
-
Does the same rifle cycle using a different barrel? It’s possible the chamber of the .308 barrel needs to be polished. If it is pitted at all it could be enough resistance to prevent from cycling.

Tokarev, I load 47 gr IMR 4895 pushing a 150 gr Hornady BT bullet. Runs the rifle beautifully without working it to hard. Good Luck, Wayne

I had never heard of this organiazation?

Hey Art, The owner of that site is Marc Wade and John Spangler. Do business out of Salt Lake City by the name Stormy Mountain Sports. Great guys! I have purchased multiple firearms from them through the years. Wayne

Hi All, Check out the link below. I have not seen this simulation before. I found it very interesting. If it has been posted before I apologize! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!! Wayne https://youtu.be/O-gSqKWbZpQ

I have never seen those either! Very nice

I personally have never seen these rifles for sale nor had I heard of them prior to becoming a member of this forum. But with that being said, I didn't know this site existed prior to purchasing my first JSAR. While I did most of my research online prior to purchasing, I never found this website. Just for fun, I just put '1941 Johnson' in the Google search bar. This website wasn't mentioned until almost the bottom of page 6. My point being with all my rambling is I would hope that if a known fake comes up for auction on any site that we would report it to the administrators of that site. Just my thoughts... Wayne
