I have 2 1941 instruction manuals of the Johnson semi-automatic rifle. They have names in them of W.B. Thurston and the other has the name Ells H Myers from Massillon OH . Anyone familiar with these names? Thanks , Dave

Difficult to say what these persons relationship was to JA. However the public could buy the JSAR and JLMG manuals directly from 84 State Street at $1 each

However this is what I found on Mr. Myers.

ELLSWORTH H MYERS (Born) 22 May 1902 (died)18 Feb 1989 44646 (Massillon, Stark, OH)

Still working on Mr. Thurston.

Myers evidently graduated from the University of Illinois with a business degree in 1939:
