Thanks for the add got my first johnson

2 posts in this topic

Had a johnson walk in my shop the other day and acquired it.  I will post the serial number when i get to the shop today.

I read almost all the post on this forum while i was waiting for my approval. The serial number is in the first 10000 and no prefix.

Looking forward to learn more about it maybe get some numbers to check to see how many match and get a value.

Read the pinned topic "Serial Numbers" at the top of this forum. Also, be advised, JSAR's were assembled with no regard to SN sequencing. So, while your rifle may be a no prefix SN, I.E., below 10,000,  a prefixed SN in either A or B could have been made/assembled before yours. Also, there are no matching serial numbers in a rifle, If there is, it is shear coincidence.
