If I am seeing it correctly, picture 2/11- which shows the bolt & the operating handle, does not appear to have any internals in the operating handle.

By re-sizing the photo, the threads where the internals screw in, appear to be apparent in the hollow tube.

Other wise, a well kept & maintained, 1941 Johnson Rifle.
