ITS BACK AGAIN.  #7302 that sold 3 times in a couple of days be 3 different sellers.

I wonder if  GunBroker has a method to report possible fraud? 

I have tried to report the following info to them.

This is at least the 4th listing of the same gun with different seller info

I read recently on another forum that Gun Broker was hacked and peoples information was stolen including passwords.  Gun Broker wants everyone to change passwords. The scammer of #7302 is likely part of that security breech.

Usually, Gun Broker would send notifications to account holders about a breach. I haven't seen anything official. Never hurts to be safe, though. These scammers from other countries can do anything with no consequences. I get a fax on my fax machine at my office about every two months about a rich relative who died and left me millions. Always a different first name. From Nigeria, I understand. I have more relatives than I ever knew and, wow! are they all really rich!

It looks like the listing has ended early for #7302.  There was not a buy it now option.

And 7302 is back up again. This is getting really entertaining. Seller won't deal with my state, otherwise, I'd ask him for more pictures to see what happens.

New listing shows "Relisting due to fraudulent buy-it-now activity."

What "Buy-it-now". Never had a buy it now option.

I can only hope that GB has this guy on their radar.

Blueheeler said this was getting entertaining.  #7302 was relisted again today by a different seller. starting bid at $3700 this time.   
 

I think part of this pattern the scammers are using is they find sellers who have no activity or new feedback in several months.

The previous listing shows a Buy It Now sale and two bidders, below. I wonder if these bidders are scams also or people really being screwed. And each new listing is supposedly in a different city and state!

Its back again, B7302 just showed up this morning. Once again it’s an account that hasn’t had any activity for some time. So the original account holder is unaware that his account has been hacked. That’s my theory.

I did resend my concerns to GB, after the sixth post of the same rifle, but never heard back from them.

Got this e-mail (below) fairly soon after I sent my note to the Gun Broker management about the multiple listings of this same rifle. The listing has been ended. Maybe they actually listened this time but we'll see if it comes up again!

This one was seen a while back as a proxibid item (Brand Used Works) and sold

Then the story is a big fib, claims it's been in his collection for a very long time....I remember seeing a picture of it on a different site
