The following information is provided from the production logs:

Receiver SN 1534,  There are no production log entries for SN 1534

Receiver SN 6013, Received From: Cranston Arms, Date Received 2/18/1942, Stock No. 2, Barrel No. 8353E, Hammer Block No. 7673, Hammer No. 5085, Bolt No.  6832, Locking Cam No. 6963, Firing Pin No. A0852,  Extractor No. 3419,  Magazine No. 5775, Disposition Date 2/20/1942, Transferred to J.A. Inc - N.P.C

Without proper and reliable provenance, be very careful about claims of both ownership and usage.

No problem. Are these rifles that you are looking at or do you own them? Just because a rifle is not in the production logs, it should not detract much from value, as if assembled with all correct  military parts in full military configuration, it is still a JSAR. Let us know if you have any correct SN's for the second rifle. Always fun to see what is out there that is still close to original.

Handsome display. These military rifles always look so good displayed like this! I'm a big fan of the dark stained walnut stocks. Not a big fan of synthetic.
