  1. Thank you Mr. Scott!
  2. I'm sure this has been covered in detail in the past. Do all original Johnson stocks have the splice behind the magazine? Most that I have seen do have it, including mine. Are there originals out there that were assembled with a solid, non-spliced piece of wood? Some people still refer to the splice as a repair. Thanks in advance.
  3. Sold pending funds. I am offering this for sale to anyone interested here before listing it at auction. This has been sitting in my safe for nine years and it's time to pass it on. The finish shows a lot wear and has not been refinished. It is definitely not a Miltech restoration, but is not complete beater either. The barrel has to be a newer original Johnson replacement. The finish on it is very nice and the bore is shiny. The finish on the magazine is pretty sparse. The wood has a nice tiger stripe figure to it and has no cracks or major gouges. I cannot speak to the functionality of the rifle as I have never fired it. I have many detailed pictures for anyone interested. Check them out and decided for yourself. I am asking $4,000, plus shipping. Email me at rjwalker10@verizon.net.
  4. I'm having problems with my main computer and I'm not having any luck loading them here with my laptop. Over the last three days I have spent a total of 8+ hours with the Mcafee people in India, only to be told that I don't have a problem. Even though the virus is disabling their product!! But, I digress. There are a few pictures on the CSP and Milsurps sites under the for sale sections. I can also send the whole set to anyone interested. Just send me an email. Thank you. rjwalker10@verizon.net
  5. I have a nice Johnson bayonet & scabbard for sale on the CSP Jouster and Milsurps boards, if anyone is interested. I just reduced the price to $310 shipped. Email me direct if you need additional pics. rjwalker10@verizon.net
  6. Is anyone familiar with these? I did not know that there was a special sling for the Johnson. http://cgi.ebay.com/US-WW2-USMC-M1941-JOHN...1QQcmdZViewItem
