  9. I like it, What Octane do you use for that Caliber?
  10. On the Discovery Channel tonight. The Gunsmoke gunshop owner (Rich Wyatt) was selling a lot of rifles to a customer, One was a nice johnson, The gunstore owner flat out said that the army didnt buy them "Because they just didnt work" Interesting, did anyone else see that episode?
  11. That looks like a Guide Rod for a 17" Gangly wrench.... I dont think it fell out of our Johnson rifle though.
  12. I can see LE O Possibly initials? I haven't seen this before.
  13. Looking at an original Barrel and Butt Stock for a Johnson SLR. Wood is very nice, a couple of dings and a small chip but no cracks, Three holes in the plate end, no hardware included. Barrel, finish kind of thin, original with correct markings, has Sight and Bayo lug, Barrel guide and Bushing. He wants $800 for the pair, A reasonable price? I havent seen too many for sale lately, What do you think? Should I bite?
  14. Jim, I will send you some pics of the stock. I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
  15. Yessir, Those are the items. Lots of interest so far.

  22. Very Unusual, I wonder what kind of barrel was used, Do you know what kind of front sight it has? That furniture is different also.
  23. I would highly suggest Joseph Scotts video on maintenance on your SLR. Clean and inspect carefully and use snap caps to hear for the firing pin strike. Better yet, Send it to him for a complete checkout. Good luck to you, Mitch J.
