  1. Can anyone give me the production information, i.e. parts serial numbers, for 1941 JSAR 7x57 serial number 5681? I'd also like to know if this left the Johnson factory as a 7x57 caliber rifle. Thank you all
  2. Walt Thank You very much for the info. It always amazes me how much information is available on most anything, and where you get it from. If you would be so kind ( and gentle ) to a newbie, could you please tell me what the NPC is. Thank you again Ken
  3. I too was at the Louisville Show and did purchase my Johnson Auto there from a Fort Wayne Indiana collector. Brian Alpert was kinfd enough to take it apart and examine it for me pronouncing it was worth the %5,00 I paid for it (always good to hear from an expert). I am still trying to locate a Mr. Walt Liss or List since I was told by Joseph Scott (whose name Brian also gave me) that Mr. Liss has data on the backgrounds of all non-prefixed guns. Anyone know where I can make contact with him? If so please have him e-mail me at KRamp96985@aol.com. Thanks all! Ken Ramp
  4. I was informed by Joseph Scott that a gentleman by the name of Walt List has information regarding those Johnson Rifles made without a prefixed serial number. As I have such a gun (sn6392) I would like to make contact with him for information as to the history of my gun. Thank you
  5. I just purchased a Johnson Auto Rifle serial no 6392 (no prefixes). Anyone know how I can obtain some history on this piece? Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you. My e-mail address is KRamp96985@aol.com.
