  1. If anyone is interested, I just received a back issue of Man at Arms magazine that features the Dardick 1500 on the cover and has a four page article about the gun. It's Volume 24 Number 3 if anyone wants to get a copy. Alternatively, I have scanned the cover and article as a high resolution PDF if you want it free. Just e-mail me at yfine@aol.com and I'll forward you a copy. I would just post it, but I know message boards like this are usually a little weird with copyrighted material and I don't want to cause our hosts any grief... -Yarry
  2. Howdy all. As many of you know, I recently acquired a Dardick 1500, but do not have the .22 barrel that would have come with the gun in it's orginal case, which I would really like to display for it. Does anyone have a spare they'd like to sell? If so, I'm interested in buying (my hope being that Walt Liss will be reading this and have a spare...) -Yarry
  3. For anyone interested, I happened to be poking around on Google looking for anything new on the Dardick and came across a guy selling two different Dardick 1500s, both in remarkably good shape along with the .22 rifle conversion kit. His prices seem a little high though. I'd say he needs to come down a good $500 per item in my humble opinion. Perhaps you can bargain with him... As a comparison, my 1500 is about 95%, came with the original box, and a complete box of 20 trounds (missing the manual and .22 barrel though) and I paid $1,520 for it. 4. I recently acquired a Dardick 1500 off the site Auctionarms, and traditionally display my rare and unusual guns in shadowboxes with some of the history surrounding them. This usually includes a picture of the inventor, but in the case of the Dardick, I have been unable to find a picture of David Dardick. I believe one of the folks associated with this message board is either the son of the inventor, or is otherwise somehow connected to the Dardick family and was wondering if you might have access to a decent quality jpg. Likewise, if you all have any magazine articles about the gun you could forward, I'd be very interested in checking them out. Feel free to e-mail me directly at yfine@aol.com Thanks, -Yarry
  5. I recently purchased a Dardick 1500, which came with a box of .38 special trounds, but my interest is in the gun and less in the bullets, since I do not intend to fire them. I am keeping a five of them for display purposes, and the box itself, but am selling the remaining 15 on Gunbroker.com with a starting bid of $35. If you're interested, the auction can be found at: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem....p?Item=59109027 Thanks for looking!
