  5. Well I made it to the range today . first shot was high and to the right ,the second low and right , both times the trigger pull got me ,its very very light next two shots 5 o'clock 1/2 inch apart, fifth shot dead center and that case would not eject . That ended the day . when I got home pulled the barrel ,a light tap with the cleaning rod and out she came . the rim where the Extractor, grabs the case was worn a way ,like it try to grab it but maybe the case was to tight in the chamber . going to try a chamber brush , any ideas Bob
  6. Hi Mr Johnson I had no idea that Melvin Johnson was your father . This is a great honor for me. I own a AR 15 and had an M 16 in the sea bees . and when i saw the bolt ,and did some reading, and saw that your father and Stoner had work together on the A R . He was way ahead of his time. even with the 224 and a box magazine BOB
  7. Hi Joe Thanks for writing , I need one of the two screws on the bottom of the forend ,or the Large head one underneath . Also like to say hi to 1917 , thanks for the info , I'm sure I'm going to need to change out all of the springs .I been watching this web site Numrich for parts . Still have to get to range and shot some rds . I disassemble the rilfe and all looks Ok . 9. Hi Signed up a while ago to read up on the 41 Johnson. . I have three other WW2 rifles and this took the longest to acquirer , but i finely got one. Seems to be in fair condition , stock is good , internals are good , bore is dark with good rifling ,ser # B7274. Went to the Numrich web site to look for parts . I'm missing one screw on the forend. I attach some pictures. Bob
