It is a blast to shoot, I have a few hundred rounds thru it and have had no functioning problems.

i was wondering about Miltech. How are they.

I have a few firing pin like the top picture and few like the bottom picture. Can anyone shed some light on why there are two different types?

A Johnson Automatics ad placed in the May 1953 American Rifleman shows a M1941 Johnson rebuilt as a hunting rifle. The rifle is chambered in 270 and has Lyman sights. Is there any information or pictures available about this rifle?

My friend gave this Johnson bayonet and sheath. Can anyone give me information about the sheath.

The rifle package that is on page 138-140.

On page 121 and 122, the ammo on the bench is 30-06 an a carbine is in the rack which lead me to believe the picture was taken in 1941. On page 55 of the book, there is mention of the barrel, but it does not describe the finish or the sights.

In the December 1939 issue of the American Rifleman, Fred Ness reported shooting a rotary magazine Johnson with a 270 Winchester barrel. Does anyone have information on what the barrel finish was or what sights were on it?
