  1. After much debate with the wife, and finally understanding where she is coming from..in other words, I lost...the time has come to clean out the gun cabinet, and among the rifles that I no longer shoot, I have two Johnsons. I had joined here back in 07 after buying them, and thought I would use them for competition, or just some shoots here in the area, but after firing them the day I bought them, they havent been out since, other than to clean, and oil. I havent got any pics of them on this computer to post right this moment, but will be as soon as I get a few taken, as my digital photo skills are not that good, and the wife is out of town. These may be Winfield Arms conversions, as they have Pachmayr butt pads on them. Id like these to go to someone that respects the history behind the Johnson, other than selling them to a gunstore that would not care who got them, and to offer them here first. I am asking $5000 for the pair. I will get pics up asap tonight. Any questions, please feel free to contact at steve@cacfans.com Sorry about the delay in pics...
  2. Hello all. Just found the board from I think a fellow member. I own two Johnsons and up till tonight I..had them for sale, but Im starting to have some doubts as to worth now. So if I ask what seems like some really redundant questions, bear with me, as I am reading the board "front to back" as it were to learn somethings before I insert foot as it were. I had been looking for one for some time, and two came about at the same time, and the price was right, so now, Im torn between perhaps getting them back in original configuration, and selling, or, selling as they are, or, finally, getting them back in original , and keeping at least one. Either way, looks like alot of information here, and look forward to any input.
