    Thanks for the quick replies, To bad there wasn't more info about my rifle. I guess it just ads to the mystery. I did not see a 7MM marking on the barrel. The Johnson was owned by an WWII vet and his son assumed that he brought it back from the South Pacific after the war. Thanks again, Chester
