  1. Anyone heard from Joseph lately? I hope he is okay. I have sent him PMs and also responded to a couple of posts here on the board with no luck. My project is at a standstill without him. Anyone have a direct email or phone number so that I can reach out to him? Joseph, If you are reading this, please email me at BBrown3407@charter.net Thanks, Brian B
  2. Joseph, Nice find. Check your inbox. I have been trying to get a hold of you with no luck. Thanks, Brian B
  3. Joseph, Sent you an PM through the board. Need some help and wanted to give you a heads up on the PM as I don't think my last email went through. Thanks, Brian
  4. I don't even look at his stuff anymore. No prices on anything and "do not touch" signs" all over everything. Prices are out of this world and his parts are so overpriced I am surprised that he sells anything. I was in Simi Valley and just moved to Pasadena a few months ago. We usually have a table in the second building. We are just two aisles in the second building as you enter from the first building. Look us up next show.
  5. He was setting up at the Ventura show this afternoon, so I had to go and get the rundown. I was told the following today. Price today was $11,500 and it came from the Beale Air Force Museum in Nevada. "It is a no letter prefix serialed gun, so it is definitely a Marine Corp or FBI gun". Not sure where he received that information from, but that I had not heard that before. I am never surprised at what I hear anymore. It is fun just to listen to the tales you hear at the gun shows that come from both sides of the tables.
  6. Will do Joseph. Good to see you are still working on these beautiful rifles. Brian
  7. Jim, Thanks for the quick reply and for the information. Checked the numbers and none of them seem to be the original parts, which I guess shouldn't be that big of a surprise. Take care and thanks again, Brian B
  8. Hello All!! I just reregistered from the old board. I picked up another Johnson yesterday and I remember that someone on the board had info on the no prefix Johnsons. Could someone shoot me some info on no prefix rifle 6339? Thanks in advance. Also, Joseph could you shoot me your email as I will need your services again on this one? You and Brian Alpert may remember me from a few years back. I had Joe do some work on one of my Johnsons and then I flew with two to the Houston show for the big Johnson Gathering. I put Brian in touch with an associate here in Downey California for some Johnson expertise. Sorry for the long winded explanation, but I wanted to reach out to Joseph and Brian to touch base again. Joe, do you still work on Johnsons? Do you still have repro front sights and rear sights? Thanks, Brian
