  1. Hi everyone, Firstly thank yo to Jim for showing me the right direction to get some information about my JSAR. I'm hoping somebody could help me with looking up the serial number 3244 for my GSAR? I've had this for a little over a year and just now found that the first log production prefix information is available on this forum. I'd appreciate any help appreciate any help I can get with this information. Cheers, Rob

I just purchased this Johnson rifle from a dealer in CO apparently it is all original but has the butt plate modified with a shotgun pad the dealer seems to think a buttplate will fit right on with no issues the problem is no butplates to be found! anyone know of a source for used or repor? Modifying a 1904 Springfield? your advice is appreciated
