  1. Nice looking wood M48. The rifle just looks better with a military style stock in my opinion. After all it was one of many weapons designed to help defend our freedom in a world at war.
  2. Certain parts are restricted as well as parts for certain models of firearms. I just looked on Numrich's site. If you scroll down to the bottom on the home page and click foreign orders, you will find some information. I would assume the laws would apply to an individual the same as a business. I searched around some, but information is sort of vague as you probably have found also. I purchased an M1 Garand barrel a number of years ago on eBay with no problem, but Canadian gun laws have stiffened since then. http://www.e-gunparts.com
  3. Coo-coo for cocoa puffs I'd say. Even his starting price is crazy.
  4. What are thoughts about these barrels from anyone? The seller claims they are Johnson barrels and they may very well have been made by Johnson Automatics, I don't know. I tried to tell him that the barrel contour didn't look right and they appeared to be barrels for the BAR because they had front sights that look like those used on the BAR.He has an assortment of small parts for the M1941 and LMG as well. I was only interested in an ejector but it seems he only wants to sell the listing as a lot. I'm just curious about the barrels because they don't seem quite right. Wiser minds than mine will know. Thank You http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=174783536
  5. I think it went pretty cheap. $23.45 if I remember correctly. I thought of bidding myself but didn't want to take away from 19pm42.
  6. There is a stripped housing on eBay right now that looks pretty good. May not go cheap in the end but right now it's low.
  7. While they were in Rhode Island they could practice some beach landings too.
  8. Looks like Sarco is out of stock too. I've seen a few made from a coil spring which might get you by until you find one.
  9. Kinda makes you want to dress up like Elton John or Liberace.
  10. Thank You and Happy New Year to you and yours, Mr. Johnson. Indeed I hope too this coming year will be a smooth one. Hopefully our unemployed will again be back in the work force and our military can fully achieve their goals as well. May God grant everyone here and their families a healthy and prosperous New Year.
  11. Here is another site that has a few pictures showing a sling attached. http://www.littlegun.be Scroll down through the menu until you find Johnson Automatic inc.
  12. Needs more posts I've learned a lot here and enjoy the forum.
  13. I opened the bidding on that rifle but that is as far as I got before someone used the buy it now option. My "lucky streak" continues on. I want to find a garage sale like one of the other members went to and found a receiver for $5. I bet that was a be "still my heart" moment. Some day it will happen I hope.
  14. Wasn't there a seller on eBay a while back that had a similar listing? Seems to be a lot of retired Marines with Johnson bayonets in the Quantico area.
  15. It is re-listed for $200.00 now.
  16. Hello everyone, Does anyone know what thread pitch is used on the barrel ? It seems to be approximately 15 TPI or 1.5 metric. Both are pretty close to each other. Thank You
  17. Thank you for the information Mr Scott.
  18. Numrich at www.e-gunparts.com lists a bolt catch assembly and Sarco at www.sarcoinc.com lists a bolt catch.
