  1. Thank you very much Ed, I appreciate your help. Glenn
  2. I have an older 5.7mm Spitfire barrel and a complete carbine, the barrel appears unfired (been stored away since the 70's), has a nice ramp front sight and screws into the action to proper alignment. I do not know of the proper maximum case length, overall length or a shoulder dimension to use to verify proper headspace with my receiver/bolt. does anyone have a diagram with the proper dimensions for this case?? Also a starting load with 34, 40 or 50 grain bullets?? Thanks for any help that you can give, if all else fails, I will fireform cases with Hornet loads and see how things work out but would prefer if someone with proper knowledge of dimensions and loads is able to help me out. Thanks for any help, Glenn
  3. I just logged in and when I clicked the image (more than once), I came up with a picture 1921 x 461, acutally pretty good on one image, 1957 x 453 for the other. a small ding in the magazine, no rear sling swivel and no bayonet lug and a modified front sight and lots of dings in the wood, a real project gun.....
  4. I have an incomplete Johnson rifle, and some of the parts I still need are available from Sarco or Gun Parts, but several are not. I do find that some of the required parts are available as Johnson LMG parts. Question is will the LMG parts function (or can they be fitted to function) on the Johnson rifle. Specificly the parts for the LMG are the Bolt (and if I purchase the LMG bolt, do I also have to have the LMG firing pin and extractor) and the Hammer. Two parts I cannot find for either configuration is the operating handle (bolt handle) assembly and the ejector, does anyone know of a source for these parts. Thanks for any answers that you can provide. Glenn
