  1. johnson rifle pics are not attaching for some reason (934kb & 235kb)
  2. heres some pics of the "JS" stock i just stained and installed the mainspring tube/buttplate. it could still use a coat of minwax pics in my other post: http://johnsonautomatics.com/messageboard/index.php?showtopic=1932 PS: Mr Joseph Scott: what kind of wood are these stocks made of?
  3. here are a couple pics of my johnson. SN# 8651 (no letter prefix) non matching B-prefix bolt. has sporter barrel that i put original sight/lug on. had a cracked sporter buttstock that i just replaced w/ a "Genuine Joseph Scott" repro. see pics of stock. gun pics did not post for some reason
  4. newbie here: I just got a Joseph Scott stock last week and im very happy w/ it. & for less than 2/3 the price of this murray's stock which has issues. fit and finish was perfect. the recoil tube slid right in just right. (ive bought a k43 stock from eastern europe in the past, and it took hours of dremel work to make it fit) heck, even the boyds stocks need a little bit of fitting.
  5. your Daisey Mae is sweet! was it hard to modify the LMG or Dror lower to mate the Johnson receiver? or did you have to cut the receiver to mate to it. could you post more pics, esp close ups of the fire control lower? (im interisted in this as i bought my first johnson (a $2k beater) & i have a 8mm dror lower & some various johnson spare parts)
