    Gentlemen...Thank You so much for the info!!....here are more photos....I am not sure how to disassemble the gun to check for the other numbers(will do some research)...here are some more pictures....before I sell it,I a tempted to shoot it....is there any danger of it blowing up if I use some commercial Remington hunting ammo in it?

    I have a 1941 Johnson Ser #2062....any info on where it was issued and to whom would be greatly appreciated....I am in Canada and am trying to Import it into the USA and with info showing it was not issued to the US government I am hoping that it maybe importable!!?...Thank You
