  1. Thank you!I have sent Joseph an e mail.----RANDELL
  2. Hi to everyone! I have a fellow that brought his rifle to me for an "expert" opinion, The serial # 7953, the rifle appeared to be all original until someone did a sporterised "bubba" job! the rifle retains the military stocks with a very well done walnut cheek rest permanently attached to the stock along with a nice orange recoil pad added , they had to remove about 3/8 of an inch of the stock to install the pad along with shaving the recoil spring tube screw 50% at a 45 degree angle. The most damage was done to the metal from being blued, however not the whole rifle is blued just the receiver, magazine ,barrel , trigger and screws. The internals and rear sight are original finish, He wants me the put it back to Original parkerising finish and new military type wood. Upon going through the rifle I found the following parts serial #'s 1) bolt # 9267 2)firing pin housing # 8941 3)barrel and barrel extension both marked 8039E (j.a. 30-06) 4)magazine housing #A2962 5)hammer 0075A 6)trigger housing #7729 7)firing pin C0136 8)extractor B7781 The rifle is also going to need a barrel if he wants to shoot it, the headspace is excesive and the chamber is worn casing the brass to bulge and failer to extract. thanks for any help finding shipping info etc! ------RANDELL
