thank you very much for your help. the gun is working perfect again.

okay please help. my father finally took the 1941 johnson rifle out that i bought him a year ago. he removed the barrel to clean it using a bullet as shown in the instructions. he can not get the barrel lock to close/ lock and does not want to force it closed. Also wether the safty is on or off he can not get the bolt to stay open. please tell me this is a simple fix. I was finally able to afford a johnson rifle for him and now it is nonfunctional. thanks for your help. until it was taken apart it fired and operated perfect.

Hi, Sorry I am a new member and purchased a 1941 Johnson rifle for my father's birthday a few weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone could help me locate or put me in touch with someone that I could purchase an orignal 1907 sling that would have gone on this Johnson rifle. I can not tell you how suprised he was when he recieved the rifle. I was also told that there was a sling that may have been used on the Johnson rifle that was not a 1907 but not sure what it is. I will send pictures of the gun when i have a chance. I also have the bayonet and frog/sheath for the bayonet. Thanks for all of your help and support. Ron

I was wondering if you could tell me what type of oiler i need for the butt stock and what went into the other compartment of the butt stock.? Also what type of sling would i need to purchase to make it close to original. Thanks for your help Ron

just purchased a 1941 johnson for my father's birthday. the serial # is A1337. He had always wanted one and the opritunity presented its self. Any information on this gun would be appreciated. The gun is all orignal and came with a bayonet and frog. The gun is in great shape. The only thing it was missing was the orignal sling and a parts kit that would go into the butt stock of the gun. Thanks for any help.. Would like to pass the information along to my father.
