  2. Hello all. I'm new to this forum. First, thank you for hosting this site and the info you provide on people's rifles. I inherited a Johnson from my Dad. He got it in the 50s or 60s. I remember it as a kid. I believe he shot at least one deer with it in the 60s. I'm glad he never sold it. I plan to get Canfield's book about them. It seems to me to be in all original condition. The serial number is 0370. Any info that's avalaible about it would be nice. Thanks, brian
