  1. This bayonet has the protective wax coating. https://www.gunsinternational.com/guns-for-sale-online/parts-ammo-accessories/bayonets/johnson-model-1941-rifle-bayonet-with-scabbard-in-as-new-unissued-condition.cfm?gun_id=102079827
  2. Yep, it’s been removed. No bidders.
  3. Its back again, B7302 just showed up this morning. Once again it’s an account that hasn’t had any activity for some time. So the original account holder is unaware that his account has been hacked. That’s my theory. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/971853477
  4. I’ve never seen one. It’s an interesting piece though.
  5. Blueheeler said this was getting entertaining. #7302 was relisted again today by a different seller. starting bid at $3700 this time. I think part of this pattern the scammers are using is they find sellers who have no activity or new feedback in several months. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/970732632
  6. Just a quick follow up for future reference. Those Ebay RCBS dies sold for $109 plus tax and shipping
  7. These might be hard to find. People are currently bidding on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155386959688?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=F4MIIhh2TvK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=kUwiwZIgQja&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
  8. It looks like the listing has ended early for #7302. There was not a buy it now option.
  9. I read recently on another forum that Gun Broker was hacked and peoples information was stolen including passwords. Gun Broker wants everyone to change passwords. The scammer of #7302 is likely part of that security breech.
  10. ITS BACK AGAIN. #7302 that sold 3 times in a couple of days be 3 different sellers. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/969845065
  11. This is great EB!
  12. BBBQ are you interested in this? If so, I did see some screws in the top of the receiver, and if your looking for a pristine JSAR or something of a lower grade. Just something to consider. Also how often do these show up for sale in Canada? Might be a good opportunity to pick this up. I looked at the bayonet, and it’s a reproduction.
  13. I thought the history of ownership was interesting, but like you say, buy the gun and not the story.
  14. New auction #7216 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/967800854
  15. Ha ha, great descriptions of bubba’s work. Did you happen to notice in picture #73. Bubba’s sense of direction is off by 180 degrees.
  16. I couldn’t agree more, I do miss his comments with his extensive knowledge. Thankfully this forum has preserved his years of knowledge he shared here.
  17. I believe that Brian’s old B8959 was the one that has the highest serial number noted on the forum here. It’s a very nice looking JSAR.
  18. Oh my! Fantastic price! Seller did very well on this.
  19. Ha ha, yes, I remember that math and double knot spy.
  20. WOW, how odd, I’m thinking peoples accounts are getting hacked. The second seller had other stuff for sale, and earlier today, they were all gone. I just checked again, and I think all three sellers accounts may have been shut down.
  21. Sold already for $6500. 1 bid, with buy it now. Like rarecat mentioned it’s a different seller, with same zip code as first seller. Looks like a decent purchase.
  22. I’m thinking the seller maybe realized it was worth more and pulled the auction.
  23. As Uncle Jed Clampet would say… dag.nab.it, iz gots to scroll through all those dang pictures now to check cvgresch numbers and then go back and check Arts numbers.
  24. Very nice detailed description and picture documentation! You will certainly have fun with this.
  25. Oh My!! I spotted several red flags, even the serial number looks a bit fresh compared to the rest of the stampings. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’s the real deal, but that’s only the receiver. Also first time I’ve seen this time type of charging handle. Do we know which one Joseph owns that’s documented?
