  1. I love it, B3222 is another USMC rifle but family did not want to release paper work! I am sure some of these were USMC used but when in very nice condition? Always makes me suspicious.
  2. I would call that highly efficient!
  3. Coming from one who has spent 6 decades growing up in the middle of maple country (Maine), I found this informative and quite amazing as to the level that you and your family have brought this to.
  4. Welcome to the site. Looks nice, its a non prefix, so when you get a chance disassemble and post part numbers, there are a few members that can tell you how many and which ones are original to the gun, always fun to learn. Phil
  5. That is quite a family history, I am certain I could smell the photo of the steam coming off the evaporator. Sweet story.
  6. Hope the weather cooperates with you, like many over here in the “almost as sweet” state of Maine , so much rides on the weather.
  7. https://www.amoskeagauction.com/auction-no-141/ try this , its just a list of highlights , also some very interesting Garands if your into that kind of thing.

  9. I agree Art, to be top value I would want more info, I will ask, can’t hurt. Too bad if all its life history was scrubbed with a rebuild. Phil
  10. S-10 went a little to high for me 20 plus fees, I wonder what one of the 24 USMC will bring? https://cwocauctions.proxibid.com/USMC-Para-Marine-Shipped-M-1941-Johnson-Semi-Automatic-Rifle-by-Cranston-Arms/lotInformation/82456365
  11. I have one I may sell. Phil
  12. I had always thought “early” stocks were solid also , along with early receivers using a backward c for the o, however s-10 coming up at auction has neither, so am I correct in thinking the shop samples were among the first built or?….
  13. If collar slides you may have that full auto you always wanted.
  14. My first jsar was I believe a miltech, It was too nice , perfect stock, non original bbl, even dark finish over all surfaces including mag. Hard to definitively tell from photos but this one maybe refinished in areas but in my limited opinion not a miltech.
  15. Good idea, Money is a universal motivator. 💵
  16. I can send over my firstborn for starters, he is very clever with diagnostics of heavy equipment, but good luck getting him to cleanup after himself, and keeping him from choking his coworkers when he is in one of his moods.
  17. I knew something was off but I missed it, Art I’m sending you another $64,000 check.
  18. I have seen very few of these but the font doesn’t look like jsar font, maybe it is a dror reciever? I have no idea how sn run with these. Very nice example though. Phil
  19. All you JSAR folks get free admission, just leave a msg if you expect to be wandering through Maine.
  20. bonus if you know what the exclamation mark is?
  21. If you don’t bid against me I will allow visitation. hehe
  22. Art gets the prize, he not only pointed out my exclamation mark was upside down, but it was from a Burnside rifle. The $64,000 check is in the mail.
  23. Inventor was a military officer whose rifle bears his name, interesting coincidence.
  24. https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/4090/481/us-johnson-m1941-lmg-class-iiinfa-cr-transferable-mg looks very nice if anyone is interested.
  25. I have long wondered why hasn’t the value of jlmg’s followed the fg42. More scarce better gun and made in USA!
