I was eyeing A9173, Finish looks good, original too I believe. The stock looks a little "off" to me, unless i'm just seeing things

I see that serial number B6163 ended on GB, but I was wondering what everyone thought of it? Anything not look right/reworked? Is that a original Kerr sling?

Looks to be re parkerized to my eyes. But could be wrong

Good eyes, I didn't notice that. I do have a question regarding stocks. I've seen quite a few with a "different grain" right before or after the magazine, like this picture. Are these repairs of some kind of is that just the way the stock is?
