Replacement JSAR Buttstock?

Does anyone out there make a really nice replacement butt stock for the '41? The one I have is a bit skinny at the heel. I purchased another from the Great American Stock Company but it is pretty crude. One of the laminations is just a little sliver of wood that does not look right. Thanks!

I am going to try one of the 1950's sporter butt stocks from Gunparts Corp.

It is said to have been made to Johnsons original military stock spec's, but with a cheek rest.

I have ordered one as a substute for the one I cracked on my JSAR.

I am going to sand off the cheek rest and refinish it to mil spec. Hopefully it will be a good one (sub) while I have my original repaired and restored.

I can let you know how it works out after I get it and modify it to Mil specs.
