WTB Johnson M41 LMG Tripod

[/b ] I'm looking for an original Bipod for the M41 LMG. Preferably the later style but will consider the early one as well.

Hey The early bipod was the production piece GOOD LUCK finding one. I believe Joseph Scott has or had some repros at one time. The later bipod was the American BAR bipod. It attached via a yoke and a long wing screw. I have been looking for one myself. Sarco has them for about $250. RYCHE

My buddy bought a replica LMG bipod from Joseph Scott and it's hard to tell the difference from the real one. The only ones who would know are those that have an original. Good luck finding an original. My buddy tried for 15 years.

I thank you Gentlemen for the information....its much appreciated, although not comforting. I figured it'd be the proverbial needle in the hay stack. If anyone has any good close up pictures of the different styles...I would GREATLY appreciate it. If I saw how they originally attached...I might be able to fab one myself.
