My father gave me this last night for my 30th birthday. I had never seen one of these before now. Obviously the stock and frt sight are not correct. Anyone know anythign else about this thing? Serial 7518 Thank much.

I also saw in the Archives of this forum people askign for information due to serial number. Is this still possible to get? I read the sticky on top but I didnt want to just start messaging the mods. Thanks much.

Looks like a Johnson that was sold by Winfield Arms in the 50s/60s. They "helped" a lot of them before reselling them. Mine looked similar when I got it, but Joseph Scott fixed it up and made it look like it should.

A couple of the guys here can give you data from the serial number.
