Sight Picture

2 posts in this topic

Just aquired S/N B0623. Changed out the main/recoil spring. Thanks Joe Scott.

Took it to the 100 yard outdoor range yesterday. With the sight slider showinng 1 for 100 meters

my shots were centered but consistent 5 to 6 inches low on the target.

It's been a really long time since I shot peep sight so what should I be seeing as a sight picture?

Thanks

Usually, put the top of sight just under bullseye. You can carefully file top of front sight blade down to raise front of barrel and point of impact. Take just a very little off, shoot, repeat as necessary. I have found the height of original sights vary. This leads me to believe they were "adjusted" when test fired.
