I recently saw some pictures inside the factory that I had not seen before. It was the barrel shop. I counted 9 or ten single lathes and five double rifling machines. They could make and rifle ten barrels at a time. A well organized business run by very capable persons to high quality standards.

I have to imagine that there have to be more photos out there, but during war time, I wonder whether or not they were allowed? Unfortunately, with those who were alive and working during the war dying at an alarming rate now, finding and annotating those photos, if they were not already, will be impossible. I know as I inherited some family photo albums after the passing of my parents, and luckily, most were well marked, but many were not, and now I am wondering who was in them or where and when they were taken. Some background images help, but not always.
