Original Instruction Manual

5 posts in this topic

I recently found an original instruction manual for the JSAR. In pretty good shape but not a copy or reprint. I have never seen one before and was wondering what would be a good price to purchase?

Thanks

Wayne

There is one currently on Ebay with a start of $100....no bids..... and a "make offer" option.

Well, as was once said, things are only worth what someone is willing to pay. If on an auction site, make a bid...if a private sale, make an offer. The worst that can happen is you are told your offer is too low. I often will do a search on auction sites for past sales to get an idea what certain items are going for. That normally will give you a place to start at, or a bit lower. Worst thing, however, is to bid to high to start. Good luck. Sounds like a great find.

Gents:

The one on EBay appears to m to be a reprint, save your money. Square corners and marked "1941" I don't believe is kosher.

would like an original myself.

Of course, until you can find an original copy, you could always get by with one of these!

http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ad/765070.htm

for only $8.70
