Passionate Gun Collector's 1st JSAR

Good Afternoon, Everyone

BIG THANKS to Jim P. for helping me get on this board And to Brian A. for the  parts to help complete my first JSAR!

Like I'm sure as many of you are passionate about collecting firearms but even more so about Mr M.Johonson's brilliant creation I too have caught the Johnson fever! My Johnson story begins with a winning bid at an online auction a month ago of a Winfield deluxe sporter minus it's barrel. This quickly led me on a search for the hard to find item, leading me here and meeting Albert B through whom I purchased one of his created replacement barrels. With his extensive experience, knowledge, advise and reading of all your generous contributions here I began the military restoration of my requisition. After disassembly, cleaning and examining all existing parts I did a simulated DuLite type plating and reassembly to achieve what you see here. See the before and after pictures below. Thank You to All who contributed to it's completion.

Thanks Again!

Jim
