This is my first post here. I bought A0073 at auction. It seems to be a nice rifle with a high percentage of the original finish and the markings on the receiver are distinct. The stock is dirty but otherwise in good shape.

I have mostly field stripped the rifle. It is clean inside, and the bore looks great.

I learned a great deal from the book by Canfield et al (I bought a new copy and keep reading it), and I am learning a great deal here.

As you have the JSAR book and your JSAR, your are well on the way to learning all about your new rifle. You will find new friends and valuable information within this forum.
