Some nice looking JSAR’s.  Interesting how A3088 has the stock with a faint #2 stamping along with the flaming bomb and US stamp. We know it didn’t leave the factory with that………hmmmmm.

What is really interesting, there is no way to contact the 'seller' and to 'ask questions' or 'get clarification' on specific claims. Many auctions sites are like this, as it appears it may distract potential buyers or reduce profits.

You can contact the auction house to ask questions or clarify concerns. They will even,  with certain questions, try to contact the owner for information. I have done this a few times myself over the years. What happens, though, is that often the owner has died and the estate has no information about the item, like you said. This can be frustrating but, like everything, buyer beware.  But, you can contact the auction company. Most of the time they can be helpful.
