Wow! A lot of money for what you see. And I hate to think the work to fix that!

However, it almost makes $1000+ for a reproduction, with a matching handguard, look like a bargain.

The cheek looks flat  on the front too. I agree it is a lot of money to spend for a stock that will always be a repaired stock in the end.

Yeah. A lot of severe cracks, chips, gouges. Maybe a blown receiver from an overload?

Zero bids and it’s been relisted for the same price.

Second stock set is better than the first, but still has some issues that will need to be addressed and fixed. More, higher quality, better lighting, and  detailed photos would help.

Interesting to see that #10 stamped into the left side of the stock.  I wonder why.

I have one, and it has the large #2 as we’ll .  But I had never seen any other numbers before. I don’t think my #2 stamp is as large as yours, and might be located towards the rear of the butt stock.   I think I posted a picture of it last year. I’ll have to look.

is yours by chance a Chilean?

I bought the stock by itself so no idea of what  its original rifle was. It was pretty beat up before I had it restored.

Another interesting twist.  The LMG with stock numbers.
