After waiting and waiting and waiting, my bid this morning on my favorite JSR on Poulan’s wasn’t enough….

I think I waited too long to start jonesing for a JSR…and yes, 10 years from now I may regret not getting one now, but regret doesn’t bother me too much.  I’m giving up - I’ll no doubt start jonesing for something else soon….

Sorry to hear about the bidding.  Keep looking, and keep trying. You don’t want to miss out on owning one of these special rifles.

I bought one a few years ago, and I thought I wouldn’t win, but it turned out I was the only bidder, and I got the deal of my life.  The butt stock was broken, but the JSAR was all original,  and the seller mislabeled the auction title, I stumbled upon the auction by accident. I have a feeling it did not show up in peoples search’s and that’s why I was the only bidder.

I waited more than 15 years to pick up my first Johnson 1941 rifle and I got a beauty! Keep the faith and keep searching.

Regarding 'mislabeling', keep an eye out for SN's that are not correct between label/description and photos or actual item purchased. Over the years I have encountered several mislabeled/described items, and tried to get lister to correct but failed.
