Johnson LMG Bipod

I believe this is a Johnson LMG Bipod, but there must be a fitting missing. It won't attach as it is. Expert opinions needed.

Looks like one to me, if not it's possibly a DROR.  If it's for sale, I'll take it

You might be missing the LMG bipod mounting block, it would be where the forward handguard screw is on a JSAR receiver.

If rarecat doesn’t want it, I will take it. Looks just like mine.

And the main question is, what are these worth? I haven't seen one offered or sold. This bipod was in a box of MG parts a friend had in his "good to have" pile, and he had no price on it.

I’m not sure what this is, any thoughts?

The first bipod is definitely a Johnson bipod.  If it is one I built it will have "JS" stamped under the feet and inside the main plate.  I used to sell them for $1500 some years ago.  If it is an original I would estimate $2000 plus.  You will have to make a front mount to replace the rifle style forearm front block.  For newcomers to website, factory started with BAR bipods, but army stopped supply, so Johnson Co. designed their own.  I also built a few BAR style, also marked "JS".

So, the reproductions were $1500? The one I posted is a WWII original and appears to be quite scarce.
