Yes. That video had been posted before and I believe there were many comments regarding his portrayal.

I don't think this is about the accuracy of the details. Rather, it's about one man's journey to a greater understanding of a classic design. His gunsmithing experience of many years aids him in this. I learned a few things, too. For instance, after owning and shooting a JSAR for the last 30 years or so, I didn't realize that the safety locks both the trigger and the bolt.

Yes, he's not a JSAR expert, but he is talented.  I wish I had his stock repair skills.

I did the stock repair just like he showed in the video and it worked for me. I put photos in an album attached to my profile.

He also has a video about the Marlin 1898 which perpetuates inaccurate safety info about that gun (flicking the recoil lock does not mean the action is unlocked and the bolt flies in your face). Still from both videos I learned a lot.
