Watching the History channel last night on guns and crime and Gangster guns. Surprised to see a JAR that was used in the twenty and thirties by gangsters. Must have been a prototype. Regards, Gary

I saw it also but I don't think ther said the Johnson was used by gangsters but showed about a dozen lawmen with Johnsons dumping full mags of tracers at dusk. This was to show the build up of firepower on the laws side to combat gangsters. Bob
