B series in front, A series in back. There are at least three differences shown in this picture. The sight profiles, the windage knobs, and the built up leaf on the B series.

This comparison applies to my rifles only and is not meant to be proof of their original configuration.

Nice examples of type I (AKA quarter heart) and type III (1/2 heart + top strap) sights. Type II is the same as type III but does not have the top strap above the receiver. It is not unusual to see type II and III sights with painted finishes.

I just noticed the same thing on mine and posted similar picture in the forum. Mine are also a milled unit on the A series and the stamped variation on the B series.

Just posted pics of my A & B series rear sights. Similar variations to yours, but yours has a piece od metal over the dove tail of the stamped sight and mine does not.
