Rear sights in Members Gallery 3 Posted October 13, 2010 · Report post Nice examples of type I (AKA quarter heart) and type III (1/2 heart + top strap) sights. Type II is the same as type III but does not have the top strap above the receiver. It is not unusual to see type II and III sights with painted finishes.
