  1. JohnE, sent your a pm, please check my thread and if you have those parts please let me know. Thank you!
  2. Thank you Sir! Rear looks a bit different - I think it has grasping groove for ease of pulling it out. There’s no access from other end.
  3. Hi All, After I got my JSAR with the help of the knowledgeable members here I realize I’m missing small parts. Can you please help me source them. Numrich and Sarco are out... I need to find: 1) recoil stop screw front (see pictures attached) 2) rear cross pin 3) metal braid that sits on stock and keep rear cross pin in place 4) Nice original bayonet and scabbard Thank you very very much in advance! Alex
  4. Hi Brian, I sent you a PM. front pin is present with its catch - please see picture.
  5. I think I’m missing rear cross pin too. Is it the same as front?
  6. Hi Joe, My retainer don’t have a room to put spring in. Was the purpose of it to just keep it in place to ease up reassembly of the rifle? In my case I have to be careful during assembly to keep it in place.
  7. Thank you Art! Yes, I read about parts numbering and as you see from my list above none are same as from original issuance. But it’s understandable because rifle likely was refurbished in service somewhere. Is that internal spring In firing pin stop An essential piece? Or it should not be there?
  8. Here’s odd things about this gun. It was imported by Century Arms judging by hand written mark on the receiver. My thought it’s a one off import or maybe private import, who knows. Barrel, bolt and stock were renumbered to match SN on receiver. Here are current part numbers: Magazine E2041; Hammer 2285; Hammer Block 2228; Extractor 2970; Bolt link 3618 Bolt 6099, additionally marked 4340; Firing pin A799; Barrel 4242E, additionally numbered 4340. Standard markings on collar and barrel for 30-06. Here are photos overall, sorry for the bad light. Also photos of the additional numbers. Rifle was pretty dirty. I took it apart and did a deep cleaning. I took detailed pictures of all parts, please ask if anything interesting is needed. Please share your thoughts! Thank you!
  9. I also noticed that my firing pin stop don’t have an internal bent thingy. Is it ok or I’m missing one?
  10. Thank you Sir! im going through cleaning and post pictures soon. Gun has some interesting features. Im missing one rear recoil screw. Can anybody help to get one? Thank you!
  11. Hi All, New guy here. I’m glad to find this wonderful resource! I just bought a JSAR SN 4340 and I am very very excited to get this wonderful gun into my collection. Can you please help with factory records for this gun? It’s non letter block, so I assume they are available? Im also looking for an original bayonet and scabbard. Maybe somebody have a nice one for sale? Thank you all in advance! Alex
