What type slings were originally used on the JSAR?

The M1941 Johnson rifles left the factory with leather slings made to the Dutch specifications. These were unique to the Johnson rifle and had a brass button on the lower end and a leather thong on the upper end. The sling is pictured on page 95 of the book "Johnson Rifles and Machine Guns."

Seems to me a while back someone was willing to make "repros" of the sling if there was a pattern, or sample. Did anything ever become of this....know that there are not many orig slings around, but I do know of some leather people who might be willing to take a crack at one

Hello Guys, This company is willing to make repro slings for us. We just need someone to cough one up to reproduce..

I am wiling to pay for them. I have several for my Krag and Garand rifles.
