5.7 accuracy

I am looking into getting an M1 in 5.7 Johnson.

What kind of accuracy would I be looking at, on a 100 yard shot?

I love the feel of the M1, and am very curious about this chambering... but have had a few people tell me that the accuracy could be lacking.

Jim,

M1 Garand or M1 Carbine? Big difference. 5.7 not suitable for M1 Garand. A properly tuned and converted M1 Carbine action with 5.7 barrel could produce less than 5" spreads at 100 yards.
