Rock Island Auction

I see that Rock Island Auctions have some interesting, yet fanciful, versions of Johnson weapons available in their upcoming auction.

The scoped rifle, S/N 5112, was produced as a standard JSAR for the NPC contract with a delivery date of 2/28/1942. This is interesting in itself as it was in progress for 1 month, an inordinate time to be manufactured.
