Rear sight variations: stamped and milled w/ pics

I just noticed my Johnson Rifles have different rear sight variations. Does anyone know of other variations and when they occurred?

The milled version...also called a quarter heart is a type 1. The stamped version...also called a half heart is a type 2. There is also a type 3 with a top strap over the dovetail as illustrated
