That thing is wild looking.

Actually, for the price of the rifle and a new replacement barrel (and maybe forend wood) from Mr Scott, I guess it might not be the worst buy out there. Then again, it would be hard to tell what else was "customized" until you got into it.

Obviously, this is a true USMC rifle captured by the Japanese and refurbished with a Type-11 LMG barrel before being recaptured by a Marine and subsequently smuggled home in his duffle bag.
